Alan Dunipace - Solicitor

Alan has been a solicitor in private practice in Scotland for more than thirty years. The bulk of his work in that time was in the spheres of litigation, dispute resolution employment law and general court work. He lectured at Strathclyde University and has served as a Temporary Sheriff and part time Tribunal Chair.

In recent years he has become involved in the charitable/voluntary sector as a member of the Executive Board of Victim Support Scotland and Honorary Secretary of Mellow Parenting. It was this that led him to look for opportunities outwith the traditional legal working environment.

He is now involved in working with Senscot establishing Senscot Legal which is a legal advice facility that will operate as a social enterprise. He is based in their office in Glasgow.

Outside of work his interests are sport, watching football, rugby and playing golf –sort of, hill walking with or without the family pet beagle, food and drink especially proper beer. Oh yes, and his family of course.
